John Abbot

Here is another politician saying (I guess) what he thinks that some people want to hear:
“Ontario has always taken a hard line when it comes to its provincial anti-smoking laws and MPP John Abbot says.”
If he manages to get a registry of the sort he is suggesting, I just wonder if it’s going to cost the tax payers billions like it did for the gun registry. Probably.

From what I understand the gun registry doesn’t exist anymore. Does he think that kind of statement would get him elected in the next provincial election? I don’t think so.

If the politicians of Ontario would smarten up they could find out why the companies that make all kinds of garbage to stop smoking, don’t produce a safe product that would not affect the heart of a person that would want to stop smoking. It’s a known fact that smoking affects the function of the heart. For instance, seniors that have trouble walking, people sitting at their desk all day and have no time for exercise, what happens to their heart?

The heart loses pressure, their lungs get filled with the fluids because the heart has lost strength and doesn’t have enough pressure to push the fluids out of the lungs and the results are that you drown in your own intake of fluids. That’s exactly what happened to me. I died briefly as a result of it, then came back alive again. My kidneys and lungs had shut down and once the fluids had been drained from my lungs the heart picked up strength again. I was lucky.

Now you go and buy a product to help you to stop smoking and when you read the label it says consult a physician before using if you have heart problems. John Abbot is looking in the wrong place for a solution.
