All about beliefs [Part 2 of 2]

Continued from yesterday.  Here are some more thoughts I have on belief, particularly Christian belief.

There are a lot of un-believers in this world. In a way I don’t blame these people.  A lot of people do not believe what is preached in church (or synagogue or mosque or temple).  let's face it, there is a lot of misunderstanding and misinterpretation of what is written in the Bible by some preachers that are supposed to be the ones to know. Also the conduct of some of these priests once they are away from the pulpit, can turn people away too.

I am sure that some of these preachers must know and understand why some people have turned against their faith. But at the same time, I would say that their faith couldn’t have been that ingrained in their mind to lose faith the way they have.

I really believe that some of what is written in the Bible was hearsay, the reason being, according to a book I received from a Christian organization, about how the third world countries came about.

In that book it stated that the Apostle Paul was the only one that could read and write. So I take it to be that what was said by Jesus was reported to him by the other disciples,  he wrote those things down. Now, people in those days, couldn’t have been any different, than we are today. Some would forget what was really said and then repeated their own version of what they thought was meant by what they had heard. Plus the language that was used at that time was different.  All the translation into different languages with different words added because the true words that could not have been translated could have seriously changed what a sentence or a full chapter meant.

Whatever the reason, I personally am a true believer and I still believe that an invisible deity called God created all the landscape, beautiful scenery, the human species and everything that we have today except what was made by man. I’m beginning to believe that a lot of people believe more in Satan than the Creator of all things. To believe in God is to believe in good things. To believe in Satan is to believe in bad things. Some countries even have churches of Satanist beliefs.

I didn’t write this to change peoples minds, because at the end of times, we will find out who was right in their belief and who was wrong.  I don’t want to be on the wrong side because first of all we are living in a hellish world already and I don’t want to live in another one when I stand in judgment by the big boss.

That is my beef and opinions of the day. May God bless us all?

Have a good day.
